Founded by Julia Minchin over twenty years ago at her kitchen table in Somerset, Hippychick is a business devoted to making parents’ lives easier. The Hippychick Hipseat, an ingenious back-supporting belt which fits snugly around the waist and features a built-in perch on which a toddler can sit comfortably without putting any strain on the spine, was the first product that got Hippychick started. From there Hippychick has blossomed into a booming business, a brand committed to helping new parents on their journey through parenthood, offering a helping hand with practical solutions for the tricky bits, and a plethora of beautifully designed luxury toys and gifts that both parents and children will treasure for a lifetime. Many Hippychick products are their own such as the award-winning Hipseat, the Hippychick Feeding Pillow and Hippychick Bed Protectors. But Hippychick also collaborates with other parents who have lightbulb moments for products that Hippychick help to develop and bring to market.
